A concept in Canadian politics regarding senate reform in a manner which will render it "equal", "elected" and "effective".

Reforming the Westminster-style upper chamber of the bicameral Canadian Parliament has been debated since the proclamation of the Canadian Confederation in 1867. The last major debate on the issue has occurred during the failed Charlottetown Accord in 1992.
